Located in Yellow Springs, Ohio, Heritage Videography is a small company dedicated to providing video memories and portraits that reflect the values and richness of our human history.

Combining interviews, video footage, photographs and music, we will create a program that is honest, fulfilling, and true to the needs of each client.

Heritage Videography began with the idea that our individual and family history is as important as the history of our country. In this world of e-mail and Instant-messaging, we are loosing track of the kind of world in which our parents and grandparents grew up. Fortunately we have the capability to capture our personal history in ways never before possible. Incorporating interviews of elders and other family members, photographs, home movie or video clips and music, Heritage Videography can weave together a program that will bring your family history to life, and help to leave a legacy to future generations.

Patti Dallas has worked in the audio/video field for many years. A talented videographer, she is the coordinator for Yellow Springs Community Television. She has logged many hours of family and community histories on video, including a lengthy program entitled, "A Portrait of Yellow Springs Through the Eyes of Our Elders."

Ms. Dallas is an award-winning performer and musician, with an eye for composition and creativity in her work as a videographer. She was commissioned by the Canadian Government to create audio-visual portraits of three communities in British Columbia.

Patti describes herself as a "people person" with a deep interest in personal histories. She loves her work and her clients have been very pleased with the results.
